Roles and Responsibilities:

Our company is looking for a Clinical Quality Assurance Manager to perform and manage internal, client and vendor audits; write, edit and manage Quality System documentation; provide training to internal staff; manage the CAPA process; develop and report on quality metrics; and provide input on industry best practices.

Specific Responsibilities:

-Develop and maintain quality management system documentation, including documents specific to regulatory and compliance processes and procedures

-Oversee internal training, including regulatory and compliance training of study personnel 

-Perform audits of internal processes and procedures to ensure staff compliance 

-Perform quality audits of external vendors and partners to evaluate prospective groups and review ongoing work under contract

-Perform audits of project procedures, training, documentation and records

-Develop and implement quality programs including training personnel to ensure compliance with practices and procedures in support of company- wide quality programs such as ISO certification

-Ensure compliance of procedures with applicable regulations

-Manage the CAPA process to address findings, issues and non-compliances from both internal and client audits, working with other groups as applicable

-Host client audits of our company, including presentation of our company's Quality Management System and responding to questions

-Deliver trainings as required on QMS processes and procedures

-Maintain internal training records and ensure timely compliance with company and job specific training requirements

-Develop, maintain and report on quality metrics related to compliance, training effectiveness and resolution of issues including CAPAs and audit findings

-Provide in-house guidance on the application of national, regional and local laws and regulations (e.g., privacy, data protection, ethics) to project-specific requirements and ensuring compliance

Qualifications:

-Minimum of 4+ years of experience in the Quality field within the life sciences industry

-Knowledge of relevant healthcare regulatory environment standards and regulations, for example GCP, FDA, ICH, other organizations

-Experience working in a structured environment
-Experience performing process and documentation audits
-Experience developing process documentation
-Proven ability to address and resolve non-compliances
-Ability to develop training programs and successfully train personnel
-Ability to prioritize and schedule time for various activities such as audits considering business needs
-Ability to organize and track documentation and records
-Ability to understand and interpret national, regional and local regulations related to our company's work
-Bachelor's degree, preferred in scientific or health-related discipline

Product Sales and Estimating Manager - Structural Steel - MA

Position Title:   PRODUCT SALES AND ESTIMATING MANAGER – STRUCTURAL STEEL – MA

Relocation:  Yes, Relocation Provided
Location:   Auburn, Massachusetts
Salary:   COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION (DOE)
Travel:  Up to 25% travel required with some international.

This is a new position.  The position reports to the General Manager and will manage a sales person and a couple of estimators. So, YES for Supervisory Responsibility.  Special Requirements:  Up to 25% travel required with some international.
 
EXPERIENCE: 

Seven to ten years of experience in Engineering, Estimating or Sales of heavy structural steel or gas turbine related products.
 
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for product growth, development, planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with cross functional teams  to ensure revenue and customer specifications are met working toward company goals; and ensuring estimates are accurate and timely.
 
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Mechanical or Structural
Engineering. Equivalent experience considered at the discretion of management.

 
JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*            Act as the first point of contact regarding new and potential projects; interface with customers on existing projects to determine and understand the breadth and extent of scope.
*            Liaison between company and the customer to understand and clarify aspects and scope of a project and interface with internal departments to manage the submittal of proposals.
*            Ensure there is collaboration between departments, mainly Engineering, Drafting, Estimating and Manufacturing to ensure timely responses to requests for quotes.
*            Oversee a team responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates of material costs and labor hours and costs, create estimates to effectively communicate to cross functional teams for customer proposals.
*            Communicate the financial details of a proposal to management through initial design and customer request review, risk analysis, and final proposal review. 
*            Analyze and synthesize data for the preparation and presentation of proposals to customers via email, hard copy, or face-to-face.
*            Liaison with customer through the product lifecycle from initial quote through product delivery.
*            Define sales strategy and identify new product lines and work with cross functional teams to analyze the shop capacity ensuring the production is realistic.
*            Conduct analysis and follow-up of proposals with customers to ensure full understanding of a project.
*            Foster and reinforce open communication between customers, peers and across the organization; making clear and concise oral and written presentations.
*            Communicate project overviews, timelines and status internally to management.
*            Maintain a broad understanding of the company's business, industry trends; continuously seek to improve processes and increase sales by researching and reviewing markets and potential sales opportunities.

 
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
*            Strong knowledge of related industry codes for structural steel applications.
*            Ability to interpret blueprints, engineering and specification drawings.
*            Excellent negotiating skills.
*            Working knowledge of fabricated steel processes, applications, and structural design.
*            Good knowledge of marketing and sales techniques as related to the gas turbine or heavy structural steel industry.
*            Knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, AutoCAD, Power Point and Sales Databases, preferable Epicor.

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Tax Manager is responsible for the efficient, accurate, complete, and timely review of all clients’ tax returns including individual, trust, partnership and corporate tax returns and multi-state returns. Advanced technical skills in a variety of real estate tax areas, along with well-developed and applied management and supervisory skills are required. The Tax Manager makes decisions on all but the most unusual tax situations. A Tax Manager should generally have at least seven years experience.

IT IS EXPECTED THAT OUR TAX MANAGERS:

• Perform technical tax reviews of all tax returns.
• Assume full responsibility of tax accounts assigned. This includes being responsible for personnel scheduling, compliance with due dates and monitoring time budgets.
• Begin and complete tax research projects, including the ability to present findings in a clear, concise, understandable written form.
• Act as a resource for tax preparers/specialists and audit staff on specific tax issues and/or questions.
• Assume tax preparation responsibility for the more complex business returns.
• Assume client service responsibility for clients.
• Manage time effectively. This includes the ability to manage multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines.
• Maintain knowledge of general economic and political trends of possible tax or other legislation that could affect the business climate.
• Possess strong computer skills, including the ability to work with GoSystem Tax.

COMPETENCIES OF OUR TAX MANAGERS:

• Demonstrates the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do the job at a high level of accomplishment.
• Begins to identify specific tax strategies for tax planning purposes.
• Applies complex tax concepts to the preparation and review of tax returns (either business, S Corp, C Corp, Individual, Gift Tax or Trusts) including analyzing information and complex calculating book/tax differences.

• Skilled in Problem Solving i.e. generates and evaluates possible solutions to problems.
